Bike track Opening Ceremony

St. Mary's Avondale School is proud to present our fantastic and new bike track.  It has been a year-long journey. Spearheaded by our Deputy principal, Mrs. Malgas in cooperation with different generous organisation, this dream is now a reality.Not only did we have a bike track, we also have a new cricket pitch. Thank you very much!!

Athletics 2016

So how did we celebrate the first Friday of the month? Athletics Day. It was the day where the House teams, Blaise, Chanel and Xavier, once again competing for first place. Preschool under St. Nicholas Team joined and started off the day with novelty games. It was then followed by several events from the different houses and year levels. This year, Xavier was victorious in first place, followed by Blaise then Chanel. 

Olympics Closing Ceremony Day

Two awesome activities to finish the week. As a tribute in celebrating the end of Rio Summer Olympics the Year 8's organised a mini sports event for the students.

St. Mary's School Avondale wanted to say a big thanks to KidsCan and the participating agencies for providing the children with free rain jackets. We were so blessed to have the Vodafone Warriors visiting our school. The children were excited receiving the rain jackets from the players.

Sarah Cowley- Olympic Ambassador Visit

Blessing of the Burning of Ashes
